Social media means Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter etc. through which we send our photos to our family, relatives and friends and tell about ourselves. To use social media i.e. Facebook and WhatsApp etc. we need computer or mobile and internet. We can also send photos of your birthday, school function and sports to our friends. We can also chat with our friends on social media and can also share our homework. We also get a lot of interesting information from social media. But we should not spend much time on social media so that our studies and sports are not affected.

Whether it is a leader or an actor, a big industrialist or a writer, every celebrity keeps himself updated on social media so that his fans are aware of his activities. Social media has played a huge role to keep oneself connected to the society. What else can social media do to meet people we haven't met in years. People are also happy that if we cannot go to meet someone in today's busy time, at least they get to know about each other through Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp etc.
People have also found ways to generate income through WhatsApp and many social networking sites. On many social media sites, domestic women are earning name and money by uploading videos of their cooking skills and are not only known in their city but in the whole world. Not only this, you can see videos of people who are proficient in many types of skills, some people are teaching their skills to other people through this. Now any news is not only popular through television, radio or newspaper, but social media is doing the most publicity work. Many times people could not display their art on a large scale due to lack of money, but what would be a good platform from social media through which they became popular overnight.
While technological development is giving us so much, it is snatching a lot. It is up to us how to make more profit and less loss. While social media brings people closer, on the pretext of this, people also stop meeting each other. Where people used to meet each other in at least six months, the period has increased further and people meet on social media only. Some people also do a shameful job of spreading unrest and malice in the country through social media. By adding any small news to religion and caste and putting salt and pepper on social media, it spreads like fire. Many such incidents have been seen in the country. Many times they put such things on social media that it becomes an issue of the country or the world. Sometimes by creating fake accounts, sometimes by changing their identity, people also use social media for conspiracies like kidnapping, murder.
Therefore, we should avoid these types of jhanas and use social media wisely. By not indulging too much in it, we should answer only by appreciating the thoughts and sensations of others and otherwise it can also cause unrest for us.
