How to win arguments without losing friends

Why are the Himalayas important?

The Himalayas is very large.  It has many peaks.  Mount Everest is its highest peak.  Many other peaks are also seen touching the sky.  This mountain range, about 2500 km north of India, looks like a vigilante watchdog.  The villages and cities in the lap of the Himalayas are witness to a civilization that has been going on for ages.

The importance of the Himalayas is from the early period.  It is also described in the Puranas.  Devadhidev Mahadev is said to reside on Mount Kailash in the Himalayas.  Yogis have been meditating here.  They have been doing penance by dwelling in the caves here.  Badrinath, Kedarnath, Amarnath etc. are famous pilgrimage places in the Himal region.  Millions of people from India and abroad come here every year on pilgrimage.  Many people come here to see the scenic spots and for tourism at the hill stations.  There is snow at many places here, so people enjoy sports like skiing, ice hockey here.

There is no better place for mountaineers than the Himalayas.  Courageous people from different parts of the world have climbed Everest, the highest mountain peak.  People come to climb other mountain peaks.  Hence, there are also many training centers where the wishing people are trained to climb the Himalayas.

The Himalayas are very important for India.  Had it not been the Himalayas, most of the northern part of India would have been desert.  It is the Himalayas that stop the eastern and southern humid monsoon winds and bring rain to the northern states of India.  This causes a plentiful crop in these states.  All the rivers of these states are inundated during the rainy season.  Even after the end of the rainy season, large rivers like Ganga, Yamuna keep water.  The Himalayas also contribute to this.  The snow of the high peaks of the Himalayas melts from the heat of the sun and comes as water in these rivers.  In this way the Himalayas become the deity of the lips to soothe the thirst of dry lips.

Himalaya is a picturesque place.  Natural splendor is scattered here.  Here nature loots its precious treasures with its free hand.  The snow-capped mountains bind the wonders.  Their beauty is enhanced by the rays of the sun in the morning.  The viewer is left with a cheat.  If we walk a little down, the forestlands start.  High trees of cedar, pine etc. add beauty here.  These trees are the refuge of wild animals.  How many animals live here.  Bear, bear, elephant, monkey, yak, zebra, unicorn, cheetah deer all feel safe to some extent here.  On the other hand, the tweet of birds is heard on trees.  Small rivers, tall mountains, deep trenches, trees, animals, birds, etc., offer amazing natural scenery.

Many villages and cities are inhabited in the foothills of the Himalayas.  The hill people raise large numbers of flocks.  There is grassland in the Himalayas for these domesticated animals.  The locals get many types of herbs from the Himalayas.  Precious wood, gum and leaves are obtained from the Himalayan forests.  The abundance of wood helps build wooden cast houses.  The wood and paper-making pulp are also obtained from these forests.

It is very cold in the Himalayan region.  It does not get hot even in summer.  That's why people from the plains come here to spend summer holidays.  Therefore, tourism business flourishes here.

Himalaya is our pride.  Humans are disturbing in its glory.  He is destroying the forests here.  He is polluting the rivers and other natural sites here by spreading the industries.  Hunting illegally, which are fatal to the lives of wild animals.  Due to the continuous spread of green house gases, the temperature is increasing, due to which the snow here is melting.  We have to be aware of all this.  People have to take appropriate steps to protect the Himalayas.
